A lot of students are having troubles in logging into their new email IDs and joining Classroom groups, so I will try to explain the steps required for successful joining.
For e.g., If your name is Abc Pqr, and you are in normal BE course, then your email would be : -
Email ID:-
First of all, know what your new email ID is :
It is in the format :
(first letter of first name)(surname)(some number, if required)_be(mba, if required)15@thapar.edu
For e.g., If your name is Abc Pqr, and you are in normal BE course, then your email would be : -
apqr_be15@thapar.edu
If you think there can be others too whose email ID should be the same, like a guy whose name is Abd Pqr and is also in same course, then both of you should have the same email ID. To resolve this problem, you have to add a number after your number, eg :
abdpqr2_be15@thapar.edu
For MBA students, IDs would be like :
abcpqr_bemba15@thapar.edu
Now lets see what your password is,
The Password is in the format :
(FIRST 3 LETTERS OF FATHER'S NAME)(DOB in DDMM format)@tu
So if your father's name is Xyz Pqr and your Date of Birth is 1st January, then your password is:
XYZ0101@tu
Some people had problems that their passwords were incorrect, try these steps :
- Check if email ID you are trying is correct (Maybe there is some other number that you are trying)
- Check if the Father's Name you are entering in password is correct (As spaces are also included in the password, so it is better to copy the exact first 3 letters of your father's name from Webkiosk)
Joining Classroom :-
Now go to Google Classroom's Website or download the app (Android, Apple).Website :
Now Login through your thapar.edu Email ID.
You will now be asked to change your password, Change it according to your preferences.
Now you will find a "+" button on the top right corner of the page :-
Click join class and enter code as 92qlxwi App :
Follow the same steps, and use the same class code and you will be able to join.
